Piezo Quartz Crystal Stimulator
Made in Japan
The Piezo Stimulator is an unique point electro-stimulation device without battery or external power source.
The high voltage microcurrents are generated by inbuild solid state ceramic quartz crystal. The peak voltage generated is up to 10,000 volts. When the trigger button located at the end of the unit is pushed, an electrical spike of 12 msec is released. The Piezo unit is not serviceable and will last up to 10,000 simulations.
Two models, the DX and EX, are available. In addition there are accessories for the DX model.
The Piezo stimulator is ideal for needleless acupoint and trigger point therapy in children, needle-phobic patients or when Piezo therapy is indicated.

Piezo-DX Stimulator
(Home or Professional Use)
The DX unit is designed for both home and professional use. The earthing plate on the DX is located at same end as the probe tip.
For professional use, without accessories attached, grounding is completed by putting the other hand firmly on patient's body or by push the hypothena of the hand firmly againly patient's skin while the same area is simultaneously in contact with the earthing plate.

Accessories for the Piezo-DX
The accessories is designed to be attached to the DX model for
practitioner use.
1. Piezo Grounding Rod (PIEZO-GR) is held by the patient, thus completing the grounding circuit without the need for practitioner to be in direct contact with the patient. A connecting ring attaches the Rod to the Piezo-DX

2. Piezo Hammer Probe (PIEZO-HP) acts essentially like a grounding rod by completing the electric circuit. The Hammer Probe coupled to the DX unit, both held by the practitioner, allows two points to be stimulated simultaneously. A connecting ring is needed for attachment to the DX unit.

3. Piezo Connecting Ring (PIEZO-CR) is required to attach the Grounding Rod or the Hammer Probe to the Piezo DX.

Piezo-EX Stimulator
(Home Use)
The EX unit is desigend for home use with a separate hand probe connected to the main body of the Piezo-EX by an extension lead.
The trigger button located on top of EX unit also acts as the earthing plate. The extension lead allows the hand probe to be used to treat hard-to-reach areas.
