This well designed and handcrafted moxa box features adjustable legs, electric fan and chamber designed for combusting smokeless moxa sticks.

It's indicated for use on the back, trunk and other large areas such as the knee. The adjustable legs allow the chamber to be raised or lowered to suit clinical requirement.

The mains power driven electric fan facilitates air-flow into the chamber enhancing combustion of the moxa stick.

The metal well at the floor of the chamber holds two standard size smokeless moxa stick. This room air-friendly moxa box is designed for the modern day air-conditioned clinic environment, in contrast to the standard moxa box for burning moxa punk.

Metal Moxa Burner with Double Chamber

This well constructed moxa burner is made of brass and is designed for small area therapy. The perforated chamber allows even combustion of moxa punk (see MOX-32) while a fine mesh prevent the escape of moxa ash. The shape of the base of and the angle of the handle is designed for massaging effect as well as heat therapy. This device can be used indirectly (applied close to skin) or directly (applied onto skin), provided some form of heat barrier is provide between the device and the skin.

This unique double barreled moxa burner is designed for additional herbal benefits. While moxa punk is combusted in the inner chamber, ginger, garlic or other herbs can be place at the floor of the outer chamber. The heat generated from moxibustion assists the herbs in penetrating the therapeutic area. The burner also has two rings on its side, acting as anchors to secure strap or band around elbow or shoulder for example.

Made in Audtralia, this set of well designed and constructed ceramic moxa boxes are also known as moxa temples because the ceramic temple (moxa box) is perched on top of a raised foundation (timber frame).

Ceramic moxa box has the added benefit of far infrared ray (FIRs) therapy as heated ceramic releases natural FIRs. Far Infrared Rays (FIRs) can penetrate our body up to 4.5 centimeters and research have shown FIRs can have a stimulating effect on the growth of living organisms.
