IACA Medical Lasers
from the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture (IACA)
(For veterinary use or export sales only.)
Choice of Three Lasers:
1. 10mW, 670nm Laser
2. 50mW, 830nm Laser
3. 100mW, 830nm Laser
The IACA advanced lasers are made in Australia featuring the latest laser technology and designed specifically for acupuncture & dermatological laser practice. The IACA lasers offer a wide range of choices to suite practitioner's needs. Three levels of power output are available in both visible-light spectrum (low power - 10mW, 670nm) and infra-red spectrums (medium power - 50mW, 830nm and high power - 100mW, 830nm).
|
The visible-light spectrum laser emits laser radiation of 10 milliwatts and offers low level laser therapy for more superficial meridian points or skin conditions, such as eczema and ulcers.
The IR lasers emits laser radiation of up to 50 or 100 milliwatts (selectable in 4 ranges in both units) at the highly penetrating infrared wavelength of 830 nm. An accurate time (up to 60 seconds) or a dosage (up to 2.4 or 6.0 Joules respectively) can be selected using a control on the front of the instrument, or the unit can be used manually - both modes are controlled by a button on the probe.
|
A beeper sounds as a warning during the time that the laser is operating, and a key lock is provided to prevent unauthorised use. As a safety precaution it cannot be operated directly from mains power but can be operated from its internal long life battery pack, making it completely safe and portable.
As the radiation emitted from the IR laser probe is invisible, the output can be verified by aiming the probe into the test aperture on the front of the instrument - a red light will illuminate to indicate that the unit is operating correctly.
The laser beam emitted by the instrument has an elliptical cross- section and diverges at an angle of 10 degrees by 30 degrees. This feature greatly reduces the risk of accidental eye damage (compared with lasers having collimated beams) and also simplifies the treating of large areas eg wound and ulcer healing.
Comes supplied with carry case, protective glasses, battery charger, instruction manual and calibration certificate.
Manufactured in Australia to ISO, Australian and International Standards
