Acupuncture Australia Pty Ltd was established with the mission of providing a one-stop shop in quality acupuncture and TCM supplies to practitioners Australia-wide.
We are a wholly Australian owned company.
Millions of acupuncture needles have already been sold in Australia. We have hundreds of satisfied practitioners nationwide from Darwin to Hobart and from Byron Bay to Bunbury.
Acupuncture needles manufactured by our suppliers are exported world-wide including the USA, UK, Europe and Japan. Needles from each supplier are all produced in-house under one facility to ensure consistent quality.
Acupuncture Australia can also claim to be a pioneer in assisting in establishing, standardising and adopting the Global Medical Device Nomenclature (GMDN) system for moxa, the cupping therapy device and the ear micro-system seed/pellet.
We, by submission and draft review, in conjunction with the Expert Team at the Maintenance Agency for the GMDN, based in Europe, developed the terms and definitions for these products. As a result, new GMDN codes have been released for these three groups of product.
